Fantastic news sneaking in just under the deadline!Chelsea were able to make the trade for Ashley Cole from Arsenal.
It’s the trade I was expecting to happen, then it appeared as if talks had broken down. Now an 11th hour magic trick for the Blues has landed a great player. Not to say that William Gallas–who is being traded along with 5 million pounds–is not a superb player, he is, but he is very unhappy at Chelsea. Cole is 4 years younger and I think will be a better ‘fit’ into Jose Mourinho’s lineup.
This is a great move for Chelsea and for both players.
