Matt, I would agree that anytime WordPress/Thesis customization, or personalization, is involved working with a professional can save you hours of your life.

I considered Wordpress as being a very easy to use platform so I couldn't understand why would anyone hire a web designer to create their Wordpress site. After I tried making one for myself I started to understand why. For a simple site with a pre-existing theme, it's easy. For a business site, one should always contact a designer unless they have programming skills.
_____________
Mathew Farney - Web Hosting

Hi Shani,
Happy New Year!
I agree. I have had projects where comments have come in from various departments within their organization. It can be challenging to say the least. Particularly when you have conflicting comments! Then what? One has to go back to the client and ask them to resolve the differing viewpoints. Would be more efficient if this happened in house. It would save everyone time.
If you can foresee this situation I would ask the client to assign a point person on their side. This point person should collect and organize information that comes from within their organization and then provide it to you.

Great video blog, Berchman. I agree with you on the timing part. One additional thought to add is the challenge with various stakeholders on the client side. It would help and speed up the process even more if the client would bring all feedback together at once instead of sending feedback by departments or teams. Everyone has a comment when it comes to a website. To sum up my comment, I recommend the client have an internal meeting to ensure they collect and agree on the final feedback before sending to the developer/contact creating the site. Thanks again for the post.
