You can use a background image on the wrapping div (div#content) and make it tile vertically.

div#content { background: url(path_to_your_image) repeat-y; }

When in the admin area, go to Posts/Categories/ You should then see a list of your categories. Hover your mouse over the category you want and look at the status bar at the bottom of your browser. There is a something that looks like “cat_ID=3″ That #3 is your category ID. You can try to filter on that variable. Hope this helps.

I have a bit of a dumb question… I'm using Thesis 1.6 and I removed all borders but now want to replace one vertical border separating the main post area from the side columns. Could you please tell me how?

Hi,
I'm really excited about being able to filter posts by slug/category. However, like Cecily, I can't make your code work using that method. I've tried both 'slug' and 'full category name' in the code.

Do you have any ideas on how I could fix this?
